Who we are
This website is operated by Kadian Official Distributor EU B.V. (“KOD”), Het Gangboord 29, 9206 BJ Drachten, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 96619449. KOD is the controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@kodbrands.com.
What we collect
When you use our forms (the free brand check and the call request) we receive the details you enter: name, company, business email address, phone number if provided, brand name, website, the channels you sell on and your message. We also receive basic technical data needed to deliver the website, such as your IP address and browser type.
Why we use it
We use your details to answer your request, prepare your brand check, schedule a call and, if we start working together, to prepare and carry out our agreement. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who processes it for us
Our website and forms are hosted by WordPress.com (Automattic). Our email runs on Google Workspace. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing terms. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a collaboration are deleted within 24 months. When we work together, we keep business records for as long as the law requires, which for administration in the Netherlands is generally seven years.
Cookies and statistics
This website does not use advertising, marketing or tracking cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics or social media pixels. The only cookies are:

Statistics. We count visits with WordPress.com Stats (Automattic). According to Automattic, Stats does not place cookies on your device. It processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view. See the Automattic cookie policy.
Content from other servers. To load the website quickly, your browser connects to the WordPress.com content network (Automattic), jsDelivr (fonts) and Gravatar (Automattic). These services receive your IP address as part of the connection, like any website you visit. They do not set cookies through this website.
If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies that need your consent, we will ask for your permission first and update this page.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use and to data portability. Send your request to info@kodbrands.com. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
